Clarence M. Christian, 78, of Cadiz, died Tuesday, September 07, 2010 at his home. He was born August 22, 1932 in Scio, Ohio, a son of the late Christopher and Iona Coursey Christian.
Mr. Christian was a retired Tech Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, a former Coal Miner at the Y. & O. Coal Co., Nelms # 2 Mine; a member of the Cadiz American Legion, the VFW and the UMWA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Freeman and Effie West: and a brother, John Christian.
Surviving are his wife, Rhoda Strother Christian; a son Mark Christian of Florida; a daughter, Connie Wheeler of Cadiz; a granddaughter, Bianka Cable of McKeesport, PA and a great grandson, Terrence James Frye of McKeesport, PA.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. www.clark-kirkland.com
